happy octopuses

    these are just boiled octopus-like carved wurst with "waves" of ketchup

    I had the idea from Yurippe Masuda's web site
    (my very first attempt to bento... I'll keep practicing... ;o) )

      Disturbing image of extreme hot dog modifications. This belong on the National Geographic Channel's Taboo series. I think I'll try it on my kids.

      The grease spilling out from inside the hot dogs' scour marks makes it look like those happy octopi are crying, drooling, sweating, and soiling themselves all at the same time, and the description is almost as traumatizing as the creation.
      I've been sitting here for about 40 minutes just staring at this. Full on original size was the most mortifying, large is positively horrifying, medium is simply terrifying, and the smaller sizes offer no relief, begging one to zoom in, perpetuating the vicious cycle that I've found myself locked in.
