Snowy Owl

Back trail around the Snowy owl's position near base of the Main Dam, Merrill Creek Reservoir. I had to hike uphill a couple hundred yards and switch back a bit.

Hand-held with TC 1.4 E-II tele-converter on the D7000.
Focal Length = 420mm (FX), DX effective FL=630mm.

Snowy Owl

Standing on top of the main dam at Merrill Creek Reservoir. The Owl has moved from the rocks (Nov. 29) to this position about 50 yards further away.
