After our three-hour lunch, we said goodbye to our parents and walked home where we showered, got changed and went out on the town. Berlin cooperated by showering us in this perfect light. I love this city so much.
We took the subway to Kreuzberg, where - after some epically crap customer service at our favorite pizza joint - we ended up eating Thai curry at a restaurant on the canal, just after 10:00 pm. It was delicious.

The gorgeous bouquet that my husband went out to buy a mere hour before we were due at the civil registry office. The florist practically choked when she asked him how soon he needed it.
"Uh. Now?"
She got it done. I love it. I want to be married every weekend if it means bouquets as lovely as this one.
