Flying High
Iphone 4 | Camera+ Application | Grunge Texture | 100% from Phone
Taken with an iPhone 4 at the annual Brisbane exhibition (better known as the ekka). It has been a while since I last visited the ekka (last time I remember was as a young teenager) and while the experience has changed, I still get a kick out of walking down sideshow alley.
It was also my first real day out using the iPhone 4 as my main camera and I was pretty happy with the results, although a faster shutter speed could have been useful!
This is one of my favourites from the day, all taken and edited on the iPhone 4. This photo was made using the Camera+ application which I understand has been recently pulled from the store due to it secretly allowing you to use the volume keys to take a photo (rather than touching the screen to take the photo). Bad news if you don't have the app, but if you do, then it is worth enabling. Just type the following url into safari: camplus://enablevolumesnap
Hope that helps anyone that has the app - it is a pretty neat feature to have!

The rain only makes the lights shine brighter.
iPhone 4 | Hipstamatic | Shake to Random | Rainy Drive Home | Developed in Phone
Taken and developed exclusively on the iPhone 4 using hipstamatic as the weapon of choice.
Despite being very very tired, I Became intrigued with the light out my window on a drive home through sunnybank, and did my best to frame it without crashing (traffic lights could be better for this).
Can you get fined if you are just using a camera while driving? Either way, I'm happy with the result (I wish it was less noisy, but it is a PHONE. What do you expect?).
Also I'm starting to think these prints might look better slightly smaller (as they look on the phone, for example. What are people's thoughts on this? Flickr uploader seems to like it this big, but not sure if I do.

A Rainy Day at the Shops
Iphone 4 | Hipstamatic | Shake to Random | Straight of Phone
Inspired by Evankok, I thought I'd begin uploading some shots from my iPhone from throughout the day. Do I expect many people to take notice? No. But it stretches my mind and imagination even if the photos aren't that good, they are a little piece of my world. Also I'm still just impressed by the Iphone 4's camera quality.
This photo was taken during a break on a very rainy day at work, but these trollies were just begging my iPhone 4 to take a snap. Shot with hipstamatic.

On The Scent
F4 | 1/1250 | ISO 800 | 200mm | D700 | Photography Site
Taken in the last few weeks just to do something with my camera. Nothing amazing (what do you expect, its just my dog!). But I do kind of like the depth of field and the way it was framed, and it is almost completely straight of camera, so I thought I would share it here for people to see.
Also if you havn't checked it out yet, I have a new website , which you should definately check out (and give me some feedback). Little slower on the posting at the moment as life gets busy, but will be much more frequent in the coming weeks!
As always, C&C is welcome.

Cleveland Point Sunset
F16 | 1/125 | 16mm Full Frame | ISO 200 | HDR | www.calebcookphotography.com
Taken a few weeks ago on a quick outing to cleveland point after the urge to shoot overtook me. Best viewed large, and can also be found at my new blog along with a few other photos from the same trip.
Trying to get out more and more to shoot, but life gets so busy! Anyway I have very slowly been working on a website as well for my photos, so feel free to head on over to www.calebcookphotography.com if you want to see some more shots of what I have been up to lately.
I have been looking at everyones streams, but just havn't been posting. Hopefully over the next few days I'll put some more stuff up to share.
As always please let me know what you think, and if you check out the website, I'd appreciate comments on that too (very slow learner in that department!).
