Avevamo deciso di trovarci, noi italiani, ogni domenica sera in un angolo del Lager; ma abbiamo subito smesso, perché era troppo triste contarci, e trovarci ogni volta più pochi, e più deformi, più squallidi. Ed era così faticoso fare quei pochi passi: e poi, a ritrovarsi, accadeva di ricordare e di pensare, ed era meglio non farlo.

C'è uno strappo sulla foglia in primo piano, come se che perfino un omaggio come questo non potesse evitare di incontrare la sofferenza ad Auschwitz.
Il freddo ha fatto afflosciare facilmente la corolla, solo il ferro del reticolato si trova nel suo elemento.
Triste confronto fra le spine della rosa e quelle del filo spinato.
Il rosso del fiore è la voce di tutta la fotografia.

Hai trovato la foto giusta per accompagnare le parole di Primo Levi. Davvero. E' perfettamente adeguata (come spiega bene anche 'magaripotessi' qui sopra).
Sarebbe ideale per la copertina della ristampa di "se questo è un uomo" o per la locandina di un documentario sull'argomento!!
