Global Inheritance returned to the Teen Choice Awards this year bringing our Tour Rider, TRASHed Art of Recycling, and Energy Playground activities. We encouraged public transportation by rewarding those who had taken buses, metros, or carpools to the awards with prizing from Fox in our Tour Rider tent. Kids and teens hopped on our energy bike and seesaw to have fun and learn about alternative energy, and the sound from the bullhorn, powered by the mechanical energy of the seesaw, drew thousands of eyes and ears. Inside the event, we debuted two new bins with live painting from the artist, as well as displayed our current recycling bins to collect cans and bottles, and our Think BIG Mini Recycling bins. We also had our alternative energy lightbox, where kids and teens competed to see who could turn on the most lights by riding our energy bikes. This was a great event for us. We got to divert waste to recycling that would have otherwise been thrown away, but more significantly gave us an opportunity to reach a younger set than our music festivals typically provide, and it was great to see kids get excited about our activities and especially the ideas of alternative energy.
