Last week I, once again, had the pleasure of visiting my friend, Marilyn Lowe in Oregon. She snapped this photo on the deck at her house before we headed out for dinner.

Work took me to Portland Oregon this week where I had a chance to spend a wonderful day with my dear friend Marilyn Lowe. She showed me the sights of her lovely city and we finished with dinner at Shigezo Japanese restaurant. The food was delicious and we had the cutest and friendliest young woman as our server. The remains of our appetizer and desert are still on the table between us. I can't say enough about Marilyn. She is a delightful woman and has become my very close friend in a very short time. A great conversationalist and beautiful to boot! Thanks for a wonderful day, sis.

The International Rose Test Garden at Washington Park in Portland has an absolutely staggering variety of these lovely blooms. Marilyn and I spent a wonderful afternoon among them.
