El poble abandonat de Santa Creu de Rodes no és tant visitat com el monestir de Sant Pere de Rodes, a només un quilòmetre. Però realment és molt interessant, tant per la seva curiosa església (l'únic edifici sencer del despoblat) com per les seves restes de muralles. Arqueològicament és molt interessant, ja que es va abandonar al s. XVI i permet conèixer com eren els pobles medievals sense modificacions de segles posteriors.

This abandoned village, called Santa Creu de Rodes it's a very interesting archaeological site. It's placed about a km.away from the great abbey of St. Pere de Rodes, also ruined, and it was abandoned in the XV century. It has a pre-romanesque church, two fortified gates and it's being excavated.
