Stela at Monte Alban ruins near the city of Oaxaca, either Mixtec or Zapotec. Your guess is as good as mine what this guy's up to. My guess is that he's enjoying it.

Being the current Director of Monte Alban, I think it is extremely important to give the right information about this stelae. The personage is not smoking, but speaking.
On other concern, I wonder if Jami Dwyer got an oficial permit from the National Institute of Anthropology and History (Mexico), to take and disseminate images from Monte Alban. Being the case, the photos must show the INAH's copyright. Otherwise he (or she) is disseminating it illegaly.
