Sambar-stag
We saw this lovely stag grazing close to the banks of the lake at Periyar Tiger Reserve.

Gaur pursued by dog
There was a herd of gaur grazing peacefully at the resort, though very close to humans. The dog bullied the herd into moving away. It was very interesting to see the dog barking at the heels of the gaur, with the latter totally neglecting it.

Bos Gaurus-bull
This lovely bull accompanied with other females of the herd were seen grazing inside of the CSI resorts at Kodaikanal.

Lion Tailed Macaque

This young tusker moved out of the shrubs quite suddenly. There were quite a few vehicles approaching, which screeched to a halt seeing him. He was totally oblivious to it.
