Chittenden County Surficial Geology

    This map shows the surficial deposits all over Chittenden County. Note that while most of the eastern portion of the county is identified by the pink code--for glacial till--the western portion is covered by a diverse mix of lake-deposited sediments. Jericho lies at the crossroads of the two.
