1933 Building in Hong Kong

In Ha Wo Hang (下禾坑), one of the small villages in the northern New Territories of Hong Kong, sits the gem of a building in the background, nestled in the hills. It was built in 1933 and has been occupied by a single large family since then.

Kowloon City Ferry Terminal

Kowloon City Ferry Terminal

KMB Bus 85 having just arrived at the Kowloon City Ferry terminal (九龍城碼頭).

The towers in the background are the Grand Waterfront complex, some of the newer towers in To Kwa Wan (土瓜灣). Being so close to Hong Kong's old Kai Tak airport, buildings in this area used to be built quite low. Only after that airport closed did towers like this spring up in the area.
