Funky perspective
Size disproportionate, the Capitol dome and Washington Monument seem to sprout out of East Capitol Street in this view from the top of the upper deck at RFK Stadium. For comparison, the Capitol dome is 288 feet tall, while the Washington Monument (the world's tallest free-standing obelisk) is about 555 feet.

I love the disproportion. It makes the Washington Monument look like a Lego recreation.
