Let the Wisdom lead our world

Let the Wisdom lead our world

Every morning I pass through the Faculty of Jurisprudence to reach my faculty. And I pass near Athena's statue; there's a legend among students that you can't look into her eyes if you want to graduate.
But she dares to stare at all of us, maybe judging what we do, leading the way to follow. She has seen generations of students; who knows what happened to all of them. They have always been passing, maybe kinda unconscious of her glance. But, sure, she's always there.
Today she has decided to shake our indifference, wearing the red clothes of Tibetan Monks.

Sorry for the low-quality. I was in a hurry, and I only got my phone's camera.

Nuvole Rapide

Nuvole Rapide

"E rimarrà forse il vuoto di noi
A disarmare i rimpianti che so
Per ricordarci in un attimo che
Passerà

Sugli edifici e sui cieli di noi,
Sulle stagioni e sui nostri perchè
Nuvole rapide, e un attimo che
Passerà ."

Nuvole Rapide - Subsonica

I haven't taken interesting pics for a while! Sure, maybe this one's not interesting either... Nevermind.
It's just that sometimes the view of the sky from my balcony deserves being captured; here's an example, the colours are natural. Few post-processing.

Wake me up when September ends

Wake me up when September ends

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends

like my fathers come to pass
seven years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends

summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends

ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began

wake me up when september ends

No, I'm not a Green Day's fan, but this song is perfect for the period I'm in. September is bringing all of our emotions and expectations; it's now that we're about to build our future. The wind and rain swept away this strange summer of mine, made of nothing but flimsy whishes.

(ps. These are my friend Giulio's legs. We went to Bari to register to the University.
pps. I nearly forgot! This is my first photo with a Nikon. Giulio lent me his camera, but I wasn't able to use it well...)

Nothing Special As The Sun Sets

Nothing Special As The Sun Sets

Nothing special, I took this pic in a while as I was passing by. I liked the colour of the setting sun and the shape of the clouds. The low quality is due to my phone's camera. No post processing.

La meglio gioventù pugliese

La meglio gioventù pugliese

(best in full view)
