The Dark Road to Oz

I recently upgraded to Photoshop Lightroom software and have found that it expands a photographer's ability to craft images that can skirt the line between photography and visual art...

If you are interested in giving the software a try, you can get a free 30 day trial at www.adobe.com

This deserted road reminded me of the road to Oz....full of brown tones and danger, but with color, light and hope in the distance.

    Lovely clouds, Jeff!

Sorry for not visiting my valued contacts much this past week, but I have been overly focused on a multimedia experiment, which included composing a soundtrack. I hope you get a chance to check it out.

Beautiful- love the desaturation/hues of the foreground and those stark clouds. Dramatic work. My brother just got Lightroom a few weeks back and is raving about it.

I agree with you - Lightroom has some great and easy to use tools, though I wish it didn't eat as much RAM.

Wonderful picture! Particularly like red-brownish tones here. Excellent choice of colors and composition...

Btw, I've tried Lightroom to a considerable degree, even when the first public betas were available, but for me - personally - it just doesn't feel right and I don't like the interface at all. So, I''d rather stick to the more sober raw processing power of Bridge, which just does what I ask it to do :). Anyways, thanks for the advice, I'm sure lots of photographers have different points of view.
