I tried to put a representation of nationalities and different body
shapes, eye color, styles.
We are all equal in the sight of God - no one person more important
than any other.
Diversity is one of those words that has different meanings to many. I
qualified it with "under God", meaning the differences that
fall under His Will.
How do we know His will? Through one of His Xtreme resources to us -
prayer.
Us communicating with God.
Through His Xtreme resource to us - His Word.
God communicating with Us.
How do we seek His will? Through reading His Word and not only
"reading"
His Word, but studying it. Asking Him to reveal His truths. His truths,
not ours. And receiving that insight through the power of His Spirit
on earth,
known to those who embrace His will as the Holy Spirit.
And though males are not portrayed in this image, they are equally as
important as women.
Not loved any more by God than women.
I chose to show women here - because unlike the females in the
diversity of animal species
out there, human women embrace color and flash and even bling on
occasion...
and since I was a little girl, I've chosen to portray them in pencil,
pencil color, pastel chalks and occasionally in oil paints.
Today (whichever day that is for you in your corner of the world), I
choose to portray them in graphics and as my own personal species
which celebrates Spring, Eggheads.
