impulsiveness, 2002, 29"w x 24"h, mixed media painting on previously-used (by another artist) canvas.
Kind of like interestingness, but more spontaneous. Just next to an on-going garage sale, in a pile of garbage, which the owner had decided no one would want, were her discarded paintings. BUT, she was mistaken... about no one wanting them... My keen eye caught the stash as I was driving home one Saturday afternoon, car full with my husband and in-laws. We stopped the car picked up all the thrown-out canvases (of course, I did ask permission), filled up my SUV and drove home in a happy hurry... my father-in-law sitting in the back seat with canvases on his lap. My mother-in-law aghast.
Art is such an adventure.....
