yesterday evening on the way home...:(
beautiful day,perfect weather but this was taken on the road over from Troutbeck,heading back to the Windermere road from Ullswater.

(not too much of a fan of HDR but sometimes it lends itself to some pics...like the way it brings out the detail of the fence,wire and probably ok because of the strong colours in this case..only my opinion of course..!)

we had it to ourselves.complete silence.never saw another soul.went down to the Roman fort and never saw anyone there either.very special place to see the sun go down on such a beautiful day.
