Beach Grass in Winter

I was out shooting on the Category 4 light day and the winds were up. Not many people out and about so I felt like I had the world to myself for a few hours. I really liked the subtle shadow and the details in the snow crystals at the base of the grass. And yes, I was prone on the icey snow to take this. I wish that I had actually dressed warmer for that outing. Shortly after this picture, I packed it in with snow in my boots, numb fingers, wet knees, a runny nose and a huge smile on my face. :-)
