Winter Fence

I'm going back here after a snow fall, but when it's sunny and with a ladder!!! Don't get me wrong I like this a lot, but with the sun setting and a dull overcast day I was a little handcuffed by the light - hence the over(?)-processing. That being said, I do kind of like the fact that the lack of shadows really isolate everything nicely.

There's another in the comments, I like the crop better - but I find it a little soft due to the fact that I had to crop these down a ton as I only had the 18-70 and my 90mm with me. As mentioned.... I will drive the 2 hours again to get this shot! ;)

I'd take #1/original crop -and I'd be hard pressed to say how you would improve on that, regardless of season. I don't think green grass and blue skies could top this.

Me -getting in first comment on one of your photos? WTF?

this fence and it's movement seems so lyrical to me.. like a staff winding through the snow, not yet with notes upon it...
