Golden Gate Reflection #1

    This is the same shot as Golden Gate Reflection #2 but white balance was forced in-camera to 2500K. Also edited to remove some lens flares/ghosts and to make it brighter.

      WOW! That's fantastic Southpaw! The skyline of the city is so clear and the bit of cloud just gives the sky an awesome texture. Was this just a couple nights after the evening I was up there with you?

      There's something with the moonlight and the bridge shadow that's really amazing here - it's so sharp!

      Thanks MumbleyJoe! Yep, this was a two nights after we did the fog shots, same location of course - I'm gonna start bringing a tent & cot with me. :D I actually drove all over the place that night, and this just happened to be one of the better pics I shot. I hate to waste moonlight!

      Anyone feel the earthquake this morning? 4.2 in Oakland at 4:30am - Yeah, I was up already. :/

      Nice shot! This same angle has been done in a lot of photos, but I've never seen any others quite like this. The sky looks great, the lights and angle are perfect... good job!

      Thanks, Steve! Don't know how the starred moon happened, but I counted 18 rays, and the Tokina 12-24 is a 9-bladed lens - probably some kind of correlation there. Or not. ;)

      Thanks Nubian Eagle. I love this shot too - you wouldn't believe how awesome this pic looks in full resolution on a 24" wide-screen monitor. :D

      And my thanks and apologies to everyone else who posted a comment here and didn't get a response from me, which I always feel compelled to do. Personal issues have kept me from enjoying photography or Flickr for a few months.
