Janes House

Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 227, a Queen Anne/Dutch Colonial Revival house built on Hollywood Boulevard (then Prospect Avenue) for H.J. Whitley in 1902. The Janes family moved in the following year. From 1911 to 1926, the Janes daughters ran a school here. Moved back on the lot in the 1980s.
