Stimson Residence, c. 1895

Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 212, a Richardsonian Romanesque home built with Arizona sandstone in 1891 by Carroll H. Brown for retired lumberman Thomas Douglas Stimson. Today a convent for the Sisters of St Joseph of Carondelet.
