Hancock Memorial Museum, Music Salon

Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 128. In 1938, the former home of Capt. Allan Hancock was razed. Before demolition, four rooms of the mansion were dismantled and relocated to USC’s Allan Hancock Foundation Building. The mansion, designed by John C. Austin, was built for Hancock’s mother, Ida, and was completed in 1909.
