British Bread and Butter Pickles

    Newer Older

I used brown sugar and apple cider vinegar to make the British Bread and Butter pickles (a variation of the Bread and Butter recipe) from the Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving.

Another 12 or so cucumbers used up!

    8 pints

I hope they're as good as they look! You'll have to test them for me.

I love having a lot of each. Slices are good for cheese parties, spears go alongside a sandwich well, and sandwich slices are awesome, too!

I was very curious about this recipe when I originally read it. Can't wait to hear how they are!
