When you were a baby .. In this very room .. Watching you grow .. complaining to mom about you following me and my friends around and getting on my nerves .. playing tricks on you and being mean .. I remember .. watching you grow .. into a teenager .. realizing that we were getting older .. making sure you knew how to take care of yourself and wanting to protect you from hurt and harm .. I remember watching you grow into a woman .. Making decisions on your own terms and facing life and the ups and downs it brings .. Tomorrow I am about to watch you become one of the GREATEST things on this earth .. A mother .. I can't believe it .. But always remember that I have your back and I love you ..
