#1 (Self-Portrait) for 112 Photos Challenge
Venice! Somewhere I had been dreaming about visiting for many, many
years, and it was worth the wait!
We arrived in town to discover a military parade in the square, which
made moving around difficult and had us worried we wouldn't get in to
the square, but by the time we had visited a glass factory and had a
gondola ride, they were finished and packing up.
Lunch at a trattoria off the square and then a visit to the Cathedral
followed before jumping in the lift for the clocktower. Awesome.
Mark and I then "got lost" on our way back to the pick-up
point, purposely meandering down random streets. Even more awesome :)
