Last night was Marks birthday dinner - 13 of us went to The General Practitioner, which I highly recommend!
Today we needed to waste some time before his parents flew home, so we went out to Makara to see the West Wind Recreation area and "hug a turbine", before making a quick detour to Brooklyn Hill to see the old turbine, which wasnt working because it was too windy.
Sure, the people look small in both these images, but they look markedly smaller against the Makara turbine - which has blades nearly as long as the tower of Brooklyn is tall! (note as well that in the left shot, the people are about 15m away from the bottom of the tower, while on the right they are right next to it)

A standard breakfast at our tramping club ski lodge - sausage, bacon, egg, toast, beans (and/or spaghetti), often potato hash as well on Sundays if there are leftovers.
I can nearly smell this again... And I crave it already, with my new diet that means I cant eat half of this stuff for the next few weeks...

Last night I was vacuuming before friends came over when our trusty old cleaner "exploded" in a haze of electrical smoke. Sure, it meant I had an excuse for not finishing, but it also stank half the house out and meant we needed to go shopping.
So today we bought home a shiny new Hoover, which has a funky attachment to go on the arm which makes it partially bagless. It must be a much better vacuum than the old one, as it collected a LOT of dust in there today...
Shot completely manual again, and only edits were a minor crop and adding a vignette

Manual focus will be the death of me this month I suspect! This was really hard to work with, focus wise!
Edits: adjustments in white balance and exposure, and thats about it
