An oil tanker cruises past Portland Head Light on its way to Portland Harbor. There she will unload her cargo into pipelines that snake 236 miles to Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
If you view large you can see the snow was falling very hard.

Very nice composition Brent. I was headed towards PHL and would have been there around the same time as you, but headed towards Westbrook instead. Looks like I missed some good shots.

talk about getting PHL in it's true environment... I get a kick out of all of the shots that must've been taken in July, or the three or four other days of the year when you can snap the shutter without gloves. nice work
