I found this little (hardy har har, he's about 3" long) grasshopper hanging out in our pepper plant the other day. We get so many interestings beings in our yard here in Louisiana! Anyway, this is my first real attempt at using layers to such an extent as to create a virtual collage.
I think this is the identification of the grasshopper.

Beautiful grasshopper! We only get the boring green kind (like on the head of the person in the photo), although there are varieties that get quite big and they always come in their millions!
