Saturday night was a bit misty causing the searchlights to stand out as they played across the sky above the Festival. Taken from Cockmills (Family Camping).

Difficult to get right as I had to have a slow shutter speed to get any kind of exposure, even at ISO1600 and widest aperture, but fast enough to freeze the moving lights. This is the best result of a compromise between the two.

Pretty much done nothing in the last year, hate the new Flickr interface and will probably let my account lapse, but got a bit of clicking done at this year's Glastonbury Festival, so thought I'd give it another go.

Not some grand vista in the middle of nowhere, but a view from a motorway bridge in the City of Newport, South Wales. The River Usk is somewhere under the mist, with the motorway on the left and factories and houses to the right.

Cycling through the Castle Grounds, I came upon a mower doing a verge under some trees, as it passed this single daisy survived and as it popped up into the one sunbeam that made it through the thick canopy, it flashed at me, I had to take it. Thank you for looking.
