No idea where, but a great photo.

It looks like one of the 'easily removable people' in the Tate Mod's members room - but I haven't figured out where the cross-hatched shadow might have come in from.

Is the pattern from the dome of the British Museum?

    6. Yersinia (54 months ago | reply)

      No, not TM or BM.

      Great picture!

Great shot. Not Canary Wharf, is it?

    9. Yersinia (54 months ago | reply)

      Thanks, Steve.

It's not Canary Wharf, I'm afraid.

      Wow. Good one.

Obviously don't have a clue where...

    12. helen.2006 (54 months ago | reply)

      That is wonderful.

I have a vague memory of you and MM queuing for ages to get in to an exhibition of models that was closing.
I'd guess either Gherkin or Ken's gaff at that. Of course if it is you'll want me to remember what the exhibition was...

    14. myrtlemount (54 months ago | reply)

OK scratch that. You've ruled at BM which was what I was thinking of.

That was the British Library actually, not the British Museum, but this isn't there either.

It's not the Gherkin or Ken's gaff.

Is that Shigeru Ban's paper tubes building model? At the RIBA of course

    17. aubergene (54 months ago | reply)

Was it Central Saint Martins window gallery?

    18. Yersinia (54 months ago | reply)

Right architect, ludd, but wrong location.

      Not St Martin's.

    19. steve_w (54 months ago | reply)

Is it (or rather, was it) in the Bloody Barbican?

    20. LucaPicciau (54 months ago | reply)

      Fantastica!

    21. Yersinia (54 months ago | reply)

Yes, it was at the Barbican, at the Alvar Aalto / Shigeru Ban exhibition.

I'm going to share the points between Steve and Ludd for this, I think.

    22. Capo2 (54 months ago | reply)

Talking of points, I was thinking we haven't had any stats recently.

Then I realised I haven't seen Fin around for a while.

Just checked his photostream, last post is 4 Nov.

Hope he's okay - anyone know anything?

    23. steve_w (54 months ago | reply)

THat's fair - I would never have got the location without Ludd's guess.

    24. Yersinia (54 months ago | reply)

      I don't know, Capo.

He has a history of going AWOL for extended periods.

I always worry slightly when a flickr regular suddenly disappears, but they usually turn up safe and sound some time later.

    30. Yersinia (54 months ago | reply)

I think I can resist that appeal to my vanity. Obviously, you were a bit quick for me, though.

You haven't put it in moviscrolliosis yet... seriously disturbing pattern dazzle.

    35. Yersinia (54 months ago | reply)

Doesn't do much for me, but I'll put it in.
