Circa early 1950s:
I saw a thread dedicated to vintage photos on one of the groups and it gave me an idea to post this picture.
When mom and I went to Boston to visit my grandma in 2002, we all scurried in a box full of old photos. I still have some of the photos because I am in a midst of retouching them.
This particular one I retouched. It was yellow and in so so shape. But when I saw this photo, I fell in love with it!! What caught my eye was my Aunt's wedding dress.
I hope to one day blow it up and put in a frame!
Was an exhibit also at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA for an exhibit called “Wedded Bliss: The Marriage of Art and Ceremony” in 2008.
