Old Victorian houses in Eureka, CA

    Eureka is a fairly large city in northern California noted for its fine collection of old Victorian houses. We passed through here while driving the coast in May 2010. The old town is pleasant to walk but we were there on a Sunday and most things were closed - but it looks like it would be worth going back to.

      What an interesting old house. One would think it would look too busy with so many different architectural details, but it's beautiful.
