We went for a trailride south of Jackson Hole Wyoming. Two hours in some of the most beautiful mountains in the US. Gillo guided us to this ridgeline and the view was spectacular. I also wanted to show Gillo's beautiful horse. We saw a moose on the way back to the trailhead but I did not have a lens to get a good photo of it.

:)))) very funny quote; he was a clever guy, your Edward.... :))) He probably could get quite a nice stable full of horses for trading in a Rolls! This beautiful view is just like a snipped from a film with Robert Redford in it... is your friend horse-whispering too? :)))
Thanks for your very wonderful Hemingway quote.... He was a bit of a drinker (amongst other things....)!!! Didn't know that one!
Happy galopping through 2009! - I 'met' a few moos on a trip through Canada; they were standing in the middle of the road and wouldn't butch.... We were scared because they were really, really huge and their fur hung down in untidy, great patches, like having been in a fight and now swinging them for showing off.... Luckily they moved after a while!
