- Fog.
- Approximately 7700 feet elvation gain from the valley floor, elev 5300, to the top of Mt Audobon at a little over 13,000.
- Part of the Arapaho National Forest. The large peak is Mt. Audubon. I think it looks blurry because the wind is blowing snow up there.
- North Boulder suburbs. Dakota Ridge, I think it' called.
- Olde Stage Road.

Hot air in the cold air and early morning glow
Saw this while driving to work one morning. It's on 95'th Street just north of Arapaho in Boulder County, Colorado. Technically, I think I was in Lafayette. It's not often that I see a colorful balloon against snow covered rural foothills. I'm 99% sure that's Mt. Audubon. The Indian Peaks are back there, too.
You can also see little sections of Olde Stage Road (on the mountainside) which is a favorite bicycling route. The road from which I took this photo is also a popular biking route.
