Companionship

One of my favourite photos. I took this snap of my parents while they were walking in front of me on the White Rock Pier in the summertime (2006). This photo brings a smile to my face, they are happy and are enjoying the sunshine and one another's company. In their 80's........they are very contented and enjoying the day.

This picture brought tears to my eyes, remember my own parents walking along this very pier. Unfortunately my dad died just over a year ago...

Why 68, I think sometimes I detect a wee bit of homesickness now that you live in Europe. I am happy that I am able to provide you with lots of photos of White Rock (your home). It may well be that I have passed your mother on occasion while I am in White Rock. It is sad as our parents age....and I feel your emotion as well at this one remembering your dad. Thanks for your comments.

You are very lucky to still have both of your parents with you. A very touching photo.

Delightful shot, and will spark this happy memory in days to come.
Wonderful if there are two of you to share these happy days.

Thanks for your visit and for your kind and caring comment. One of those "special" flickr moments for me. Thank you.
