Project Fifty(2)
I wanted to challenge my creativity in a different way. I usually live life though a little camera lens. It was time to experience what my clients were going through in front of the camera. The worry of the final product, the not knowing if the angle made me look decent, and the self-critical part that follows once seeing yourself in 2D. Not only that, but I'm not the most confidence person when it comes to my self-image. Surprise! I know everyone deals with it, I see it all the time, but it's time to accept me for how God created me. It's, also, simply difficult to take photos of yourself. They end up blurry most of the time or cropped in weird ways. Lots of trial and error.
The goal - take a self portrait once a week. It' sounds simple and broad, but leaves room for lots of creative possibilities. My hope is that this challenge will better my photos taking abilities for my clients. It'll be interesting to look back a year from now and see where it a started.
