I got offered a Rolleiflex along with a few old school (including a Canon 7 and its 50mm f:0.95) cameras during the holidays. I haven't got to use them properly yet, despite a few attempts at some pictures with the Rolleiflex. I'm taking it to work today so that Dyuka can give me a few tips if he's not too jealous.

The Palace of the Kings of Majorca, or Palais des Rois de Majorque in French, is a palace and a fortress with gardens overlooking the city of Perpignan in Pyrenees-Orientales. It was the first time I could go there despite having driven in front of it dozens of times. It was very pleasant to be able to see the main tourist sight in Perpignan after all this time. The view from the top of the main tower is really nice and enables to see the Mediterranean Sea on one side and the Pyrenees on the other.

After the visit we walked through the Old Perpignan, which I saw for the first time. I have to say it could be a very nice place with beautiful colourful houses. Unfortunately it's a very very dodgy place full of junkies. There may be room for optimism as apparently more and more bobos are coming there, by buying super cheap apartments to renovate them entirely. Bobos are not my favorite people on Earth, but at least, they are better than junkies ;)
