Messy bookshelf

    I have a love-hate relationship with books: I can't prevent myself from buying them, but then I run out of space to store them.
    I resolved to only buy reference books, or books I really want to keep, and just borrow the ones I want to read from public libraries, but I have great difficulty sticking to the plan...

      Mike, I love the feeling you get when holding a book made of paper in your hands. There's something great about carrying one in your pocket or backpack, but on the other hand, I love being able to access lots of books online, with Merriam-Webster and Wikipedia one click away...

      I can only do extended reading with a book- all the electronic stuff is good for about two paragraphs.
