though the story behind this book is hilarious and i so believe in "you can't always get what you want, but you just might get what you need"!
a man came to our home to buy something from joe we had on craig's list. they talked for a good long while in the garage. i didn't go out there but once to just say hi.
joe comes back in and says the guy was short a couple of dollars but would send a check. i rolled my eyes and said "right.", joe agreed and that was that.
two days later we get a package with:
1) a check for the amount he was short plus MORE
2) this awesome book (they had been talking about joe's job, which
really does suck)
3) a letter thanking joe for listening and sharing and the book was
for him because it's his latest one
so joe was talking about how much we hate our jobs with the author of a book called "My job sucks and I can't take it anymore ! HELP"
holy freakin kismet batman!
by the way, the book is funny, insightful and uplifting. BUY this book if you are unhappy with your current job!!!
