Quote To Think Of: "There is no art which affords less opportunity to execute expression than photography. Everything is concentrated in a few seconds, when after perhaps an hours seeking, waiting, and hesitation, the photographer sees the realization of his inward vision, and in that moment he has one advantage over most arts - his medium is swift enough to record his momentary inspiration."
For technical questions: Yes, this is an HDR. I have to uploaded one since May 2007 but I couln't do that without Photomatix. I re-edited the overall image again and thats what you see now. I am not 100% confident with the outcome, because HDR has some disadvantages, too. But I will not point them out today, because I want you to enjoy the image ;) .
Personal Message : At this time I am learning anew how what to do when I am at a beautiful place like this. Normally you arrive, take your camera and shoot instantly, after finishing you take your stuff and leave. But something's missing, right ? So what I am trying to do after arriving is breathing the air of the area and to enjoy the beauty that I am able to look at. Some might call it a meditation of the seen, others might say you are just getting concious of what is laying before you. However you wanna call it, I recognized that this is one of the most important issue, I as a photographer have to face : To be inspired and THEN to shoot. I am 100% shure that the outcome will prove it. Oh yes, there times when you are on a hurry and it would be improper to waste your time. But even at that point, 10-30 seconds of letting inspire you can change what you are trying to catch.
