Beetle Mania
I bought this daisy in the flower shop and as I was paying for it, a man walked in and said, "Did ya see all those ladybugs outside today?" And I said, "WHERE! ... I want to shoot them?!!?" After I clarified what I meant and he realized I didn't mean with a gun, he showed me where they were. At least a hundred flying around this one spot in the back of the shop. I just put her on the daisy and she crawled to the perfect spot. ;-)

Of course I was wondering what lens you had that would allow such an easy off the cuff shot. Are you shooting the Nikon 70-200 f2 stabilizer lens? This really rocks!!!!n (Sorry, I don't know the call letters for Nikon's stab lens.)

Holy cow. What amazing luck to have the guy tell you about the lady bugs. I guess you go everywhere with your camera? Lucky you had the "right" lens attached too. Jaw dropping gorgeous shot of the orange daisy and ladybug....the lighting, composition and sharpness is flawless.

I caught a little ladybug today, sadly only on top of a grey dustbinlid...so no way near as pretty or beautiful as this is...absolutely gorgeous!!!
