This stomach bug wiped me out. I got back in bed after the kids went to school and did not get up until after 10. I was back asleep before 12 and up at 2. Oof. After Kate came home, I made myself some tea with honey. I kept it down. From that point things got better. Jane was at call backs for Oklahoma and then went to watch a basketball game. It was a strange afternoon.

It was in the high 50's. I wore a denim skirt with flats - no socks or tights. And green shoes.

I was crabby and tired all afternoon. Woke in the middle of the night with a stomach bug. It all makes sense now.

They bloomed a few days ago, but I kept forgetting to get out there with the camera during daylight hours. This photo is out of focus, but I just really wanted to document this. Daffodils in January. Go figure.

I took the girls out for frozen yogurt after Kate's basketball game. It's the type of place where you pay by the ounce and pile on the toppings. I always get chocolate with a tiny bit of caramel, some oreo crumbles and little whip cream. Which is funny because I never get chocolate ice cream. The girls always go overboard with the toppings. And they pick crazy flavors like orange and peanut butter. Gross. But I was like that as a kid too.
