    Wednesday was the first day DC accepted marriage licenses from same-sex couples. The Westboro Baptist Church was there protesting first thing in the morning (Matt Dunn got some amazing shots of them); I got there around 11 to watch the scheduled counterprotest, which was full of levity and smiles.

      love the sign :) peacefully protesting the WBC haters is the way to go even when their message is so filled with hate
