i recently bought these sandals and totally love them. i've been trying to use them with every outfit i put together, and the outcome is not always good. =p

a close-up to show more clearly the 2 threads. one was pearly and the other was light pink with a soft shimmer.

made with 2 threads of embroidery floss and some shiny plastiv beads. the inspiration came from here. the way she did wasn't working for me, for some reason, so i decided to make some adjustments. it turned out great!

i still don't like the big bead on the end, actually, and am thinking about leaving it simply with a knot.

Apesar de adorar tricô e crochê, eu só sigo receitas. Por isso, esse stuffie é o meu orgulho craft do momento. Tinha que fazer algo pra uma troca e resolvi tentar criar minha própria receitinha. Pode parecer pouco, mas sou uma negação pra entender todo o mecanismo do crochê, então foi bem trabalhoso até acertar o número de aumentos e o lugar onde eles deviam estar para que o arco-íris ficasse no formato que eu queria. Outra coisa que sempre me dá trabalho é costurar todas as partes. Argh, odeio essa parte!
