Hello to all my friends on flickr . . . just a little note to say I won't be here for a while, really hope I won't be away too long but tomorrow ( Tues 26 May ) I am off to hospital to have a spinal operation the next day. Some of you will know that last July I had a scoliosis correction but unfortunately things haven't gone to good, with screws loose and a vertabrae out of line.lol... I have been in tremendous pain and having to use a wheelchair..that is the reason for my archive photos and lack of visits to all your sites. I am really missing my photography.
I am so greatful for your visits and commments and hopefully one day in the not too distant future I will be able to catch up on your lovely photos too.

Love and best wishes Jenny X

Dyffryn House and gardens

Dyffryn House and gardens

View On Black
The story of Dyffryn Estate dates back to the 7th century A.D. when the then Manor of Worlton was given to Bishop Oudoceous of Llandaf. In the 16th century the manor was acquired by the Button family and the first house was built. The family occupied the estate for a number generations and it is said that they still do to this day as the ghost of Admiral Sir Thomas Button haunts the grounds of the estate!
