I have almost run out of photos, thank goodness it is Friday!

So here is a bit of my lunch from yesterday - photographed, handheld, using the macro setting on the baby Nikon. If nothing else I am greatly impressed by the image stabilisation ;-)

"They don't build things like they used to" ... none of that nasty barbed wire or corrugrated iron, well not here anyway - there's plenty up on the open moor and surrounding fields :-(

I love this old stone wall - located parallel to Moor Brook and down into the East Okement Valley at West Cleave. I guess it is hardly a "dry stone wall", LOL.

There are two old copper-mining adits on the eastern bank of the river in West Cleave. The larger of the two is visible to the left of this small waterfall - a black hole framed by tumbling ivy and ferns.

The East Okement River flowing through West Cleave to the south-east of Okehampton. There's another of those fences, on the opposite bank, which end abruptly when they get to a watercourse and then start again on the other side.
