He'Brew Messiah Bold. Almost as good as the Nine, which as you know is in my top three favorite beers of all time. Who knew I would be a fan of kosher beer.
Anchor's Old Foghorn barleywine. Actually, it is somewhere between the He'Brew Messiah and Great Divide's Yeti stout. Very complex, carmelly, and smokey. Perfect sipping beer. I'll have to get more once it gets cold out.
Anchor Small Beer- this is actually made from what's left after extracting the sugars from the malt used for the Old Foghorn. So it's kind of a salvaged, waste not want not project. Which I admire. And the beer tastes like a bitter, which I always like.
We got a small reward for finding a woman's bike, so we treated
ourselves to hamburgers and beer over the weekend. These were
particularly good beers, although none are well suited to the
temperatures we've been suffering through.
