Taken at Okefenokee Swamp from a pontoon boat ride on what commonly called Billy's Lake. It's actually the headwaters of the Suwannee and other rivers. I've been trying to get a shot of an otter for some time.

Yellow Rumped Warblers making good use of the dripping spigot in the next campsite. I took this from my camping lawn chair. I sat and watched and photographed this beahavior for hours. Other birds, squirrels and a couple of lizards made use of the source of fresh water also.

I took a shot of this guy just after he landed and there was no acorn. In the very next frame the acorn suddenly appeared. The time lapse according to my camera was 3 seconds. Until this encounter I had no idea that Red Bellied Woodpeckers stashed food. Obviously pine trees don't have acorns so it had to know it was there because it went straight to the spot it had stashed it. Taken at Okefenokee Swamp NWR Campground, Georgia.

I go to Florida once a year. This trip I finally got a couple of decent shots of this skittish bird. Taken at the Fort DeSoto Campground.
